We therefore invite you to a festive ball with cheerful country dances and cotillions from the 1800's. “Playford's Pleasure” will also be there again and will accompany us with lively live music.

Period costumes are very welcome but not compulsory. An afternoon workshop will give us the opportunity to learn or refresh some of the more challenging dances. A basic knowledge of country dancing is required. The ball program will be announced in advance.

For the physical well-being in the evening we ask the participants to contribute something to the buffet at the ball, perhaps even according to a Regency recipe? Please let us know in advance what you would like to bring so that we can coordinate the offer.

Markus Lehner and Beate Knobloch, dance instructors. Both have been teaching historical dance for decades. Together they have also been leading country dance weekends in Benediktbeuern for many years.

Karin Feneberg, music teacher for recorder and piano, practices historical dance as a dancer and musician. She is the initiator and director of the dance music ensemble “Playford's Pleasure”.

Pia Winkler will, as usual from Benediktbeuern, be responsible for the entertainment program at the ball.
